I’m David Holland, a Licensed Associate Real Estate Broker with HS Capital Realty LLC—but you won’t find me hosting open houses or chasing commissions. My full-time role is with BELFOR Property Restoration, where I help property owners and managers recover from fires, floods, mold, and more. Whether you’re an agent, homeowner, or investor, I’m here as a resource when things go sideways. So why do I even have a broker’s license? In New York State, you need a real estate license to manage properties on behalf of others. I started in property management in 2016, got my salesperson license out of necessity, and upgraded to broker in 2021—mostly because I love learning and pushing myself. I’ve since stepped away from day-to-day management and joined the supplier side, but HS Capital Realty has graciously allowed me to hang my license with them. These days, I use my background to support the people doing the work—agents, clients, property managers. If you find mold after closing, if your property takes on water, or your client needs help before they can sell, I’m your guy. I’ve managed thousands of residential, commercial, and single-family properties across New York. I’m a CPM®, ARM®, MBA, and Notary Public.
